TennisLabo by TAFDATA Inc., is registered by Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as an ICT tool which can improve inquiry-based learning while reducing the workload of faculty and staff. Masahiro Yamada is the founder and CEO of TAFDATA Inc., a Japan-based startup dedicated to enhancing human capability through advanced AI systems. He holds a degree in AI and robotics from Osaka University, where he gained international recognition by placing second in a global robotics competition. This formative experience set the stage for a career at the intersection of technology, embodiment, and innovation.

Prior to founding TAFDATA, Mr. Yamada held executive roles at multiple startups, serving as Chief Marketing Officer and later as a board director. In these roles, he led business development, product strategy, and was actively involved in M&A execution—gaining hands-on experience in organizational integration and strategic acquisition planning. His exposure to both the operational and structural dimensions of company growth shaped his holistic view of venture building.

At TAFDATA, he now leads the development of TennisLabo, an AI-driven tennis performance platform that helps coaches and players improve through automatic posture and formation analysis. His approach blends deep technical knowledge with user-centric design, ensuring that technology remains a tool for human empowerment rather than replacement.

He envisions a future where technology facilitates deeper self-understanding, embodied learning, and more humane forms of growth.
