StepUpp aims to help users improve their health while having fun with people around the world through its pedometer and social networking features. Available both for iOS and Android and is completely free to use. Features several behavior change functions that lets you “set daily walking goals.”

Sales partner search for MaaS business entry into Southeast Asia
The client is a major IT company who operates a variety of businesses from infrastructure to apps. We supported the company from scratch with market research and the search for sales and marketing partners to expand its MaaS (Mobility as a Service) business in the Southeast Asian market. We identified multiple sales and marketing partner candidates through cold calls, which led to local business negotiations with the client and helped the company gain footprints in the local market.
Developing sales channels through overseas exhibitions of innovative devices
A bio-venture who manufactures and sells innovative medical equipment in Japan exhibited at its first overseas exhibition and was awarded "the Most Scanned Exhibitor Award" as the exhibitor that attracted the most attention. In addition, following up with a customer that we met at the exhibition, we travelled directly to China after the exhibition and obtained a lead for a business deal worth hundreds of millions to 1 billion yen per year.

Japan entry strategy for telemedicine business
The client is a mega venture company who operates a variety of businesses with a core business of a human resources platform. We have investigated which diseases they should focus on for their Japan entry to maximize their profits. We have created a dashboard that combines and visualizes multiple data published by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and open data from RESAS, etc., and made proposals based on the data.

Obtaining subsidies from Japan governments and developing new customers for AI x Sports SaaS
The client is a startup of AI x Sports SaaS (Software as a Service). We helped them to get a subsidy from Japanese government, and identified a new customer to jointly conduct the first PoC (Proof of Concept) at a school institution in Japan. Leveraging this use case, we keep supporting the client for their global expansion.
